Wendia North America warmly welcome customers and partners for the 2018 Customer-Partner Conference that will take place at Robert Redford’s Sundance Mountain Resort, nestled in the North Fork of Provo Canyon between spectacular mountain scenery, on May 8th-10th, 2018. The Conference offers informative conference sessions, interactive workshops, value-packed customer and partner presentations, hands-on trainings, team-building activities and much more. The conference registration payment deadline is April 4, 2018, but attendees registering and paying for the conference by February 28, 2018, are invited to attend early conference sessions held on Monday 7th at the Sundance Resort at no additional cost. Preparations for the upcoming Scandinavian PUG Conference are progressing, as another presentation “Services should also be monitored” is now planned with Atle Nilssen, Wendia Norway, and a person from Ceesoft talking about the integration between Ceesoft’s service monitoring system with POB.

Another presentation to look forward to is “Integration between monitoring systems and POB”, where Jan Vinter, Alm. Brand, will show how to automatically get alarms from your system management tool into POB, and how your system management tool can help monitor the optimal performance of POB.

In Norway, a variety of different training opportunities are set up for the spring. On Thursday November 30th, 2017, Wendia in Norway held their traditional Christmas seminar for customers and partners. More than 40 guests attended and listened to Torgeir Waterhouse, giving an expert presentation on EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which was a main topic of the day. Also, May Liss Urang and Jonathan Baeza, from Statsbygg, showed their Self Service Portal solution, called “Webster”, and Wendia Norway’s Atle Nilssen informed about POB G6 1.9 and MexonInControl.

Wendia North America is hosting another POB G6 Administrator training on January 29^th – February 2^nd, 2018 that, in addition to the general POB admin subjects, will deal with 1.8 features like GUI enhancements, new themes, additional custom windows and enhancements to the POB Web functionality. Two days packed with interesting round-table discussions and presentations from POB users on the topic of integration, latest news about the POB development, external presentation on the art of inter-Scandinavian communication, as well as a surprise outdoor event followed by a nice dinner are among the things that await the Scandinavian-speaking POB users at next year’s Conference. The Conference will be held at Gimo Herrgård just north of Stockholm, Sweden, on March 13-14, 2018.

Wendia Norway are thrilled to invite customers and partners to the annual Christmas Seminar that will take place on November 30th. The seminar starts out with a 5-hour session with various presentations in the afternoon, followed by an evening with dinner and entertainment. Presentations include Statsbygg talking about their comprehensive Self Service Portal and POB News by Atle Nilssen, Wendia Norway. Wendia North America hope to see you in the beginning of December for a new training course “POB Advanced Administrator Training Course”. The course comprises four individual days that you may attend all four of, or choose any class(es) you want. The course will cover specific topics each day, such as: Advanced POB functions and features (Dec 4th), Clickonce client modifications (Dec 5th), Web interface configuration (Dec 6th) and finally Web services (Dec 7th). Wendia North America have changed the dates for the next POB G6 Admin Training, which is now planned for September 11-15, 2017. They hope to see you for the training that will be based on the POB G6 Version 1.8 system, which is the current generally available release of POB. In addition to the general POB admin subjects, 1.8 features like GUI enhancements, new themes, additional custom windows and enhancements to the POB Web functionality will also be reviewed.
